The distinction was awarded by more than 200 entrepreneurs and regulators of the sector.
Argentina.- The Chubut Lottery won first place in the category of responsible gaming advertising and prevention of illegal gaming, at the 68th ALEA Assembly, held in Córdoba. The award was presented to the Social Assistance Institute (IAS) for its commitment to promoting prevention among youth.
The distinction was awarded by more than 200 entrepreneurs and regulators of the sector, who voted for the campaign that has become a national benchmark.
The Social Assistance Institute (IAS) of the province, which carries out this policy at the behest of Governor Ignacio Torres, has achieved significant recognition for its innovative approach in combating problematic gambling among youth.
Ramiro Ibarra, head of the IAS and vice president of ALEA, received the award on behalf of the province and stated: "This recognition is a sign that we are working and moving in the right direction. It is an honor for Chubut to have these recognitions from the main operators and other lotteries in the country."
As explained by the Patagonian lottery, the awarded campaign, launched less than a month ago, firmly addresses the impact of problematic gambling on youth, a problem that has been increasing, especially due to the rise of illegal online gambling.

This phenomenon, largely unregulated, has made minors vulnerable targets for unauthorized platforms, which promote betting without any control. The Chubut advertisement shows how gambling addiction affects the youngest, while promoting dialogue between parents and children with a clear message: "If your child bets, you bet on the talk". This message seeks to sensitize families and promote conversation as a prevention tool.
The spot competed with the bplay campaign, which features footballer "Dibu" Martínez, and others with high visibility, such as those starring sports journalists Germán Paoloski and Leo Montero. However, Chubut's proposal was chosen for its comprehensive approach and direct message.
Additionally, during the assembly, the IAS received a special recognition for the 65 years since its creation, in a distinction that highlights its commitment to the regulation and promotion of social assistance in the field of gaming.
"This award reinforces the importance of the fight against problematic gambling, especially among youth, and the need to prevent the effects of illegal gambling. The commitment of the Government of Chubut is thus shown as a model to follow in protecting new generations against addictions related to gambling," the entity stated.
