Soria leads the allocations with EUR285 per inhabitant, EUR9 more than in 2023.
Spain.- After launching the Christmas Lottery campaign 2024, the State Society of State Lotteries and Betting (SELAE) highlighted a general increase in allocation, with provinces like Soria leading with EUR285 per inhabitant, EUR 9 more than in 2023.
According to the local media Heraldo Diario de Soria, in total, EUR25.5m have been allocated for Soria, equivalent to 127,529 tickets. Following in the allocation ranking are Palencia, with EUR145 per inhabitant, and Burgos, with EUR141. Huesca and Teruel also stand out, with figures of EUR125 per person, and Cuenca records EUR122.
This year's draw will take place on December 22 at the Teatro Real in Madrid. The sale of tenths began on July 18 with an issue of 193 series of 100,000 numbers each, eight million more tenths than the previous year, amounting to EUR3.860m, of which 70 percent will be distributed in prizes.
Last week, SELAE presented the advertisement for the Christmas Lottery 2024. "Sharing it is extraordinary" is the slogan of this year's audiovisual piece, which has already become a classic that Spaniards look forward to year after year.
