The new version focuses on the periodic review process, a feature to keep user information up to date.

Spain.- The General Directorate for Gambling Regulation (DGOJ) launched a new version of the Web Service Specifications for Player Verification. Ten days since the last update, this new modification introduces adjustments designed to improve accuracy in the periodic review processes of player data.

The modifications focus on the periodic review process, a feature for operators to keep their users' information up to date. Among the updates, clarifications on how and when these reviews should be carried out are introduced, with the aim of facilitating compliance with the deadlines established by the regulations.

In addition, new requirements have been implemented in the operation of starting the periodic review, tasked with opening a specific time window during which operators must verify the data of all their players. This operation includes additional instructions that ensure the process is completed within the assigned period. The periodic review maintains the updating of player data, such as registrations in the General Registry of Gambling Access Bans (RGIAJ).
