Two men in Bangkok are suspected of kidnapping and beating a young woman, restraining her in a car, and fleeing with her in the vehicle. They were intercepted by the police during the journey, the victim was rescued, and the criminals were arrested.

This dramatic rescue occurred on a busy road, and the woman was eventually saved, with the police now ensuring her safety.

At around 4:33 PM on November 20, Deputy Inspector Sumit Nanon of the Thung Khru Police Station received a report that a woman had been kidnapped in a car, attacked, and injured.

Initial information indicated that the victim, a 26-year-old woman identified only as A, was kidnapped by two men. Unaware of what was happening, she was abducted into a golden Toyota Altis with the license plate กล 5806 from Ratchawinli Province. The car was traveling from Wat Thung Khru on Bachatip Road towards the Thung Khru intersection.

Sumit and the Thung Khru Police Station patrol team successfully intercepted the car near the entrance of Soi Pracha Uthit 93 in Thung Khru, Bangkok. They found 28-year-old Pitiphum in the driver's seat and 29-year-old Ratthaphong in the passenger seat.

The officers immediately noticed the victim, A, in the back seat with her arms and legs tied with ropes and her mouth sealed with tape. After discovering this, the police quickly intervened, rescued her, and took her to the Thung Khru Police Station.

Upon investigation, it was found that Ratthaphong and Pitiphum had planned the kidnapping. A was Ratthaphong's ex-girlfriend, and after she ended their relationship, Ratthaphong, furious, devised a series of plans for the kidnapping attack.

Ratthaphong's plan was to pretend to return A's belongings, call her to meet outside a convenience store at No. 90 Soi Chanthasom 4, Pracha Uthit Road, Phra Samut Chedi, Samut Prakan Province. Upon meeting, he immediately executed the kidnapping.

According to the victim, when she arrived at the agreed location, Ratthaphong instructed Pitiphum to forcibly drag her into the car and then tie her up.

During the struggle, the car door opened, attracting the attention of passersby who quickly called the police. According to KhaoSod, Sumit also received the alert and then activated the red light signal to intercept and assist.

Chumphon Sinsiripong, the chief of Thung Khru Police Station, stated: "The motive for the crime seems to be jealousy, stemming from the man's dissatisfaction with the breakup, especially when the woman started dating someone new. Driven by jealousy and anger, he then carried out this act of revenge."

The police revealed that the kidnapping suspects are facing charges of joint detention, assault, and coercion. They have been handed over to Deputy Inspector (Investigation) Wichaya Bunkoom of Thung Khru Police Station for further legal proceedings.
