BC.Game has said it will “vigorously appeal” a court ruling that claims the alleged operator of the brand has been declared bankrupt.
The operator, whose ownership is reportedly split between Small House and BlokDance, said it “strongly disagrees” with the ruling and insisted it “remains fully operational and is continuing its international activities as usual.”
Alongside the claims of bankruptcy have been accusations of misconduct by BC.Game by players who have claimed that system issues have led to losses.
“BC.Game strongly denies these allegations, asserting that they lack substantial evidence and fail to demonstrate any violations by the platform,” it said.
“Our internal investigations have revealed several inconsistencies in the cases, with many claims failing to hold up under legal and technical scrutiny, relying mainly on unverified statements. “BC.Game has always adhered to industry standards and regulatory requirements.”
BC.Game is the lead sponsor of Premier League football club Leicester City.
A club spokesperson said: “We have been and continue to be in regular discussions with BC.Game with regard to an active legal case in Curacao.
"BC.Game have provided the club with the strongest assurances that they are actively appealing this case, and that the process which has been initiated in Curacao is administrative in nature and has not arisen due to any concerns with their financial standing.
”BC.Game have further assured us that they have no issues with liquidity and that they remain fully committed to meeting their ongoing contractual and financial obligations, including to the club, and that this case will not impact on BC.Game’s continuing international operations."
