Total taxable gaming revenue in Massachusetts, US, fell 8.5 per cent year-on-year in October.
The Massachusetts Gaming Revenue reported revenue across sports betting and online of US$142.5m for the latest month, down from $155.8m a year ago.
Month-on-month, total revenue in the Bay State fell 13.9 per cent from September’s $165.6m.
Sports betting revenue in Massachusetts hit $48.3m in October, down 18.3 per cent year-on-year from $59.2m a year ago and declining from $73.5m in September.
As for the casino sector, table and slots gross gaming revenue combined was $94.2m in October.
While this figure fell year-on-year by 2.5 per cent from $96.7m, there was a month-on-month increase of 2.3 per cent from September’s $92.1m
Total sports betting handle in Massachusetts rose 30.8 per cent in October from $571.8m last year to $748.1m.
Month-on-month, handle jumped 10.2 per cent from $678.7m.
