A slot player at MGM Grand Detroit won more than $1.2 million on Thursday, the largest jackpot ever recorded in the casino’s 25-year history, officials said.
The winner, who does not want to be identified, hit $1,271,645 on the popular Dragon Link slot machine by Aristocrat Gaming, representatives said in a press release.
The previous jackpot record at MGM Grand Detroit was for $1,127,425 won in July 2008.
