A shooting incident occurred outside a convenience store in Si Racha Kraeng Noi, Samut Prakan province, Bang Sao Thong district. After receiving the report of the shooting, the Bang Sao Thong police rushed to the scene along with the investigation team, medical emergency personnel, and Ruamkatanyu Foundation emergency responders.
Upon arrival, the police and emergency responders found that one 18-year-old teenager had been shot in the left thigh. His companion, also 18, was shot in the waist.
The emergency personnel immediately provided assistance and transported the two injured youths to the hospital for further treatment.
The investigation revealed that both individuals had previously attended a vocational school but had since graduated and were no longer students. These former vocational school students were involved in a dramatic street chase in Samut Prakan, pursued by students from another school.
The students engaged in a chase and argument on the streets of Samut Prakan, which escalated into a shooting. The two teenagers were injured during the incident and managed to escape to a convenience store for help. They were visiting a friend near the location of the shooting at the time.
On their way back, they encountered rivals from another school.
The opponents, without warning, brandished a gun and fired three shots at the teenagers. The first shot hit the driver's left thigh, forcing him to accelerate away on his motorcycle. His friend, who was sitting on the bike, was shot in the waist.
Despite their injuries, they managed to reach a convenience store for help, while the attackers fled the scene.
The police are actively reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the attackers and register information about their motorcycle. According to KhaoSod, the police are methodically conducting the investigation and expect to arrest the culprits and take legal action soon.
As the investigation continues, the injured teenagers are receiving medical treatment, and with the support of many parents, the police are intensifying their efforts to apprehend the perpetrators of the shooting.
