The Ministry of Finance, Economic Transition and Digital Transformation launched a new call for free training sessions.
Spain.- The city of Ceuta offers new specialized courses related to the online gaming sector, designed to train professionals in various areas within the industry. The Ministry of Finance, Economic Transition and Digital Transformation, through PROCESA, launched a new call for free courses with the focus on providing qualified personnel to the companies in the sector based in the city.
Registrations to participate in the trainings opened on November 22 and will extend until December 2. The trainings will be conducted in both face-to-face and online modalities, with a limit of 20 places per course, in addition to 20 reserve places per specialty. Each applicant may enroll in one course and the initial selection will be based on the order of registration.
The programs include specialties of product manager, payments, fraud and money laundering, and technician in operations and marketing. Registrations can be made through the PROCESA website.
Meanwhile, a report revealed that 78 percent of Ceuta's economic turnover comes from 3 percent of its companies, all linked to gambling and betting activities. This data comes from a study conducted by Insight View, which provides information on companies and self-employed workers in 73 countries, as reported by the local media Ceuta Actualidad.
The data from Insight View indicates that Ceuta's productive fabric has slightly reduced its credit risk in the last year, although 21 percent of the companies in the region present a maximum or high risk of default. On the other hand, the report reflects a deterioration of eight percentage points compared to the 13 percent that this indicator registered before the pandemic, and represents a reduction of one point compared to the levels shown in 2023.
