After application: Fixed deposit of 1 million Malaysian Ringgit, with the possibility to withdraw 500,000 Malaysian Ringgit after one year (retaining 500,000 Malaysian Ringgit until cancellation of status) (expenses first - buying property, education fees, medical fees).
For each additional dependent member, an additional 50,000 Malaysian Ringgit fixed deposit is required.
Ages 50 and above:
Before application: Liquid assets of 1.5 million Malaysian Ringgit, monthly income proof of at least 40,000 Malaysian Ringgit.
