Argentina.- The Cybercrime Investigations Section Junín, Buenos Aires province, carried out an operation in Olavarría and Greater Buenos Aires with the aim of dismantling clandestine gambling networks, an action that reinforces the commitment and support towards the Cybercrime Divisions of the Bonaerense Police.
The Superintendence of Complex Crimes and Organized Crime conducted a series of raids on 66 homes in various localities of Buenos Aires province and the interior of the country, under the judicial intervention of the Functional Unit of Instruction and Trials No. 03 and Court of Guarantees No. 06 of the Judicial Department of Florencio Varela.

During the raids, computers installed in premises operating as cybercafés to cover up illegal betting, mobile phones, and cash were seized.
In early November, four alleged members of a gang dedicated to clandestine gambling were arrested during a major operation that included raids in the Buenos Aires localities of Junín, General Arenales, and Arribeños. The detainees were accused of operating a virtual casino that took illegal bets.
According to information provided by police sources, the procedure supervised by the Fiscal Assistant of General Arenales, led by Dr. Gabriel Colombo, consisted of four objectives raided at different points in the localities of General Arenales, Arribeños, and Junín. Personnel dependent on the DDI Junín proceeded to seize evidence of betting activity such as annotations, cash, and mobile telephony.
