According to Thai media, Major General Montree Thesakan, the commander of the Crime Suppression Division, and others surrounded and arrested a gambling gang inside a commercial building on Ratchadamnoen Road, Soi Sake, Bowon Niwet District, Bangkok. Eleven gamblers were arrested, and over 6,000 Thai Baht in cash along with 30 gambling devices were seized.
The initial charge was "engaging in illegal gambling without a permit (CSD)," and the suspects were subsequently taken to Chana Songkhram Police Station for legal proceedings.
It is understood that before the police raid, about 20 gamblers were anxiously waiting for the outcome of a dice game. However, when they saw the police entering the house, they panicked and fled over the walls.
Eventually, 11 suspects were arrested, and the police took away the aforementioned evidence.
