Press release.- Greentube, the division of NOVOMATIC Digital Gaming and Entertainment, announced its latest festive release from the popular series Diamond Link, "Mighty Santa Boarded Up".
The Christmas-themed slot features symbols of cookies, reindeer, and dazzling diamonds adorning the reels.
The Diamond Link feature can be activated by getting six or more scatters or by filling the progress meter with diamond symbols. Once the feature is activated, all diamonds turn pink and their values turn into multipliers.
The feature starts with an explosion that creates one to four highlighted fields behind randomly selected diamonds on the reels. Then, the multiplier is displayed on the sleigh and a game board appears with the feature fields and a Santa Claus character.
The board game mechanics of the title add an interactive layer to the gameplay. Players roll Santa's dice to move him around the board, landing on fields that activate spin bonuses, countdowns, multipliers, and other modifiers.
Among the modifiers are the "Spin Fields", which grant a free spin where diamonds remain sticky, the "Watch Fields", where the Christmas countdown randomly determines whether the feature continues or ends, the "Special Fields", which activate sum, multiplier, or collect functions, and the "Diamond Fields", which double all the values of the diamonds present.
When Santa's clock runs out or all reel positions are filled, the "Diamond Link" feature ends, awarding diamond values and any "Grand Jackpot", "Major Jackpot", "Minor Jackpot", or "Mini Jackpot" won. If all 15 reel positions are filled with diamonds, players will receive the "Grand Jackpot" of a minimum of 1000x the bet.
