Supplier Thunderkick has obtained a B2B license from the Danish Gambling Authority (Spillemyndigheden), ensuring the studio can operate within Denmark's regulated market until 2029.
According to the latest national regulations introduced this year, the new license allows Thunderkick to distribute its games to Danish operators.
The license reflects Denmark's move towards stricter regulatory controls, requiring game suppliers to obtain authorization to continue offering their products in the market. Thunderkick's approval enables it to continue operations.
The company currently provides games to numerous European jurisdictions and has identified Denmark as a key component of its broader growth strategy.
Good news: The license adds to Thunderkick's portfolio of regulatory achievements, including approvals in markets such as Italy, Spain, and Hungary.
Thunderkick's Chief Commercial Officer Wan Kim stated, "Obtaining the B2B license has been a focus since the Danish Gambling Authority announced new regulations earlier this year, and our successful application highlights the quality of Thunderkick products and our unwavering commitment to comply with continuously updated regulations."
This collaboration is a result of Thunderkick's partnership with Italian operator CasinoMania and is one of its initiatives to expand its influence in the European market. In Hungary, Thunderkick established a partnership with Vegas.hu earlier this year.
The company's operations in Denmark will include its slot games, such as "Turning Totems" and "Sword of King Arthur," which have been integrated into the region's platforms.
