Stats Perform has expanded its agreement with the Saudi Pro League to ensure that all top-tier Saudi football clubs and the league's own media and digital teams benefit from new performance tools and insights, powered by Opta and OptaAI, to enhance on-field analysis and further deepen fan and sponsor engagement.
The extended agreement includes Opta Vision powered by OptaAI, Stats Perform's richest performance data, captured from all Saudi Pro League, King's Cup, and Super Cup matches throughout the season and made available to each club's performance analysis department.
Powered by computer vision and generative AI, Opta Vision combines complete player tracking, ball event data, and aggregated fitness data, along with various AI-enriched predictive metrics, allowing analysts to quickly identify new and pioneering performance traits at player and team levels.
Opta Vision data from dozens of overseas competitions will also be available to recruitment analysts working for Saudi Pro League clubs to enhance their data profiles of future players being scouted.
Each club will also have access to its own internal Opta Pro Hub, where they can manage all daily scouting activities, including player reports and recruitment lists.
Fan engagement is set to be supercharged across all official Saudi Pro League channels, with Opta feeds powering a wider range of new experiences for fans, both pre-match and in-game.
This includes the stats hub on the official Saudi Pro League website and app, the official RSL Fantasy game, and the syndicated global broadcast feed, which will be enhanced with data insights and rich graphics.
Live Opta data feeds will also be available to the Saudi Football Federation, official league partners, and the media departments of all Saudi Pro League clubs, expanding sponsorable content on their official websites and enabling them to produce and share data-driven stories to increase supporters across all social channels.

Launched last year, Opta Vision powered by AI is now in use in dozens of leagues, federations, and leading teams worldwide. The expansion of coverage this summer means that Opta Vision data is now available for over 60 men's and women's competitions — a 35% increase in 2023-24.
