A Chinese man, a former worker for a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO), tore up his deportation documents in an attempt to stay in the Philippines.
In a report by "24 Oras", seven people teamed up to restrain the Chinese man, who was one of the POGO workers scheduled for deportation today.
Hours before the deportation of this Chinese citizen, staff from the Bureau of Immigration and its fugitive search team handcuffed him after he caused a disturbance in the immigration area of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
According to sources from GMA News Agency, the deported Chinese man is suspected to be a POGO boss.
Eventually, the man calmed down, and his deportation proceeded smoothly.
