Hopes of Brazil’s land-based casino gaming reform bill advancing in 2024 were dashed on Wednesday after the Senate postponed a vote until next year.
There were renewed hopes that there would be a vote on the land-based bill after it was put on the Senate Plenary agenda this week.
However, Senate president Rodrigo Pacheco said the bill needs input from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance and Family and Fight Against Hunger.
