The equestrian center in the Argentine province is going through a crisis that endangers its continuity.
Argentina.- Specialized media in the turf of Córdoba claim that there could be up to five institutions and companies from the gaming sector interested in taking over the operations of the Hipódromo del Jockey Club de Córdoba, located in the capital of the Mediterranean province.
According to reports, a decision on the future of the operations of the mentioned racetrack, which currently has seen its equestrian activity reduced and is going through a severe crisis that has jeopardized its future, is imminent.
In this context, Córdoba media indicated that among the interested parties are two jockey clubs from the province of Córdoba associated with owners and breeders, and a turf union, breeders and owners from the Argentine interior.
They also reported on a company that operates casinos and an international group related to gaming associated with a company that manages equestrian agencies and racetracks. Additionally, they reported the interest of a cooperative formed by turf enthusiasts from the region.

The most important race held at the equestrian center located in the Barrio Jardín of the City of Córdoba is the Clásico San Jerónimo, which gathers on track thoroughbred horses from the local, provincial, and the rest of the country. This event is covered by all the media in the country and broadcast live for the racetracks of Palermo, San Isidro, and La Plata.
The Jockey Club Córdoba is the only racetrack in the provincial capital, with a 2,000-meter track that allows races of all categories. Additionally, it has an official grandstand for members, boxes, and general admission areas.
