From the Chamber of Official Lottery Agents and Related, it is explained that the agency owner is impacted, causing damage to their work.
Argentina.- In a letter signed by Marcelo Iglesias, president of the Chamber of Official Lottery Agents and Related of Buenos Aires (CAOLAB), a request was made to the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos (IPLyC Buenos Aires) to reassess the terminal shutdowns, which are a result of the sanctions for debit outages affecting a large number of files that do not comply with payments to the Institute.
«From CAOLAB we consider the severity of the sanctions, even cutting them off in December and again in January, causes a serious economic damage to the agency owner due to the loss of revenue from the sanctioned days, but fundamentally, due to the irreparable damage from the loss of customers», the statement indicates.

And it adds: «While it is up to the Institute to take the necessary precautions to ensure the collection of bets in a timely manner, CAOLAB also requested the reconsideration of the current sanction mechanism and to implement penalties that do not cause this type of economic impact on the agency owners».
In conclusion, they emphasize their request to reduce or cancel the sanctions for the next 60 days.
