One of the leading brands in the betting sector in Brazil, Esportes da Sorte continues to strengthen partnerships that reinforce the pursuit of promoting responsible gaming and the integrity of the segment, from bettors, clubs, and athletes. The company has agreements signed with Sportradar, a traditional technology leader, Brazilian Company for Support to the Compulsive (EBAC) and the Institute for Support to the Bettor (IAA).
Reference when it comes to integrated behavioral management and psychosocial and health assistance, EBAC assists Esportes da Sorte in protecting and welcoming players on the platform. In this way, it reinforces the company's Corporate Social Responsibility practices and amplifies the provision of segmented guidance for the gaming and betting industry.
During the partnership, EBAC focuses on conducting a training program for Esportes da Sorte, aiming to prevent the development of disorders related to gambling by bettors and also instruct the platform to identify signs of compulsive players.
Gabriel Oliveira, legal director of Grupo Esportes da Sorte, highlights that the new partnership comes to directly boost the recovery and treatment of bettors who are in need of help, as well as making the users themselves understand how responsible behavior is the best alternative to have fun on the platform.
“Bettors will be directed to the EBAC portal, where they will have access to a self-assessment questionnaire to analyze their level of compulsiveness. This will allow players to have a better understanding of their behavior. In addition, they will have access to channels of care with multidisciplinary health professionals, aiming to provide support and adequate reception to players who need emergency help”, he says.
The project also includes the IAA and Sportradar. In the first case, the Institute for Support to the Bettor provides the institution's seal for use in communication materials, websites, and social networks, certifying the platform's commitment to social responsibility.
It is also worth highlighting the IAA's role in promoting group meetings on topics such as financial education and emotional support, as well as individual therapy sessions with specialized therapists. The institute also provides communication channels via chat and WhatsApp, facilitating access to the necessary support.
As for Sportradar, the intention is intensive monitoring of Esporte da Sorte to apply a comprehensive approach in combating betting-related fraud and manipulation of sports events.
The use of various products, including the UFDS (Universal Fraud Detection System), reinforces the betting platform's commitment to supporting disciplinary processes and investigations.
“We have established partnerships with organizations specialized in monitoring against manipulations, as well as additional support and treatment for our bettors. Our initiatives are fundamental pillars for building a healthy, stimulating, and welcoming environment for those who wish to have fun consciously. Gambling is a form of entertainment”, concludes Gabriel.
