Argentina.- More than 7,000 people filled the amphitheater of Playa Unión to celebrate the start of the summer season 2024/2025 in the seaside villa of the city of Rawson. The event, organized by the government of Chubut through the Social Assistance Institute (IAS) and in collaboration with the Municipality of Rawson, featured a series of raffles and prize giveaways, in addition to providing significant resources to various local institutions.
The day began at 19:30 with performances by local artists Chiaru Vera, Sebastián Plaza, and the folkloric ballet Suyay Karen. From 21:00, the evening continued with the live broadcast of the Telebingo Chubutense through Channel 7.

During the night, resources were allocated to various institutions in the city, such as three local schools, the Santa Teresita Hospital, and the Lifeguard Corps, reaffirming the IAS's commitment to giving back to the community part of the proceeds. Officials such as the president of the IAS, Ramiro Ibarra; the general manager of the agency, Daniel Cambon Rubí; the secretary of Government of Rawson, Karina Barneche; the secretary of Environment and Sustainable Development of the municipality, Miguel Larrauri; and the president of the City Council, Dulio Monti were present. Also attending were the undersecretaries of Government, Agustina Morales; of Tourism, Magalí Volpi; and of Culture, Osvaldo Labastié, among others.
One of the most anticipated moments was the draw for the grand prize of AR$10m (USD 10,000), which was awarded to a resident of Rawson, who had purchased his ticket at Agency 2001. In addition, cash prizes were given to attendees of the amphitheater.
