The Quad Committee will invite the so-called "King of Online Gambling" Richard Lim to participate in their final hearing on the issue of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO).
According to Quad Committee Chairman Robert Ace Barbers last week, they had planned to conclude the discussion on the POGO issue.
However, due to new information about Richard Lim surfacing, he stated that co-chairman Dan Fernandez wishes to invite him.
"The online gambling company is the last one, because we will terminate the online gambling company hearings. In fact, we should have terminated the plan last week. And because of the recent revelations and information showing that there is a person named Richard Lim, who is also a 'King of POGO Kings'... Therefore, Chairman Dan Fernandez hopes that we invite this person, so we can finish this matter, and we also end it," Barbers insisted.
Barbers also mentioned that if there are no issues with the court hearing schedule of Ai Li Guo, she will also attend.
Meanwhile, he stated that the committee is still studying how to handle the contempt of court order against former Secretary of State Harry Rock.
Barbers said that it is now time for them to terminate the issue of online gambling companies, and the contempt of court orders against these people will be automatically lifted or removed.
"We are still studying how to do this. Because, when we terminate the agreement, all the committee's rulings on the online gambling industry will be canceled, especially if there is contempt. That's what we are studying how to do," Barbers explained.
