The 12 online sportsbooks in Tennessee produced a record-breaking $594 million handle in November, according to new data published by the Tennessee Sports Wagering Council. It follows on from previous records of $547 million and $521 million set in October and September, respectively, and was the fourth time the state reported a handle surpassing the $500 million mark.

Handle was up 8.5 percent from October’s record and 15.3 percent year-over-year. In November 2023, the sportsbooks also collected a then-record $516 million handle.

The three-month streak follows a slower summer, which saw the SWC issue fines to three of the state’s sportsbooks, including BetMGM, ESPN BET and Action247.

The council does not report handle by operator. Those available include FanDuel, Caesars, DraftKings, BetMGM, ESPN BET, Fanatics, Bally Bet, Hard Rock Bet, Action247, Betly, Wagr and ZenSports, which recently struck a deal with Kambi Group.

Tennessee operates an online-only sports betting market. It became the first state to launch such a market in November 2020 after the passage of the Tennessee Sports Gaming Act in April 2019.
