It was the product of two operations carried out on the same day.
Bolivia.- The Authority of Gaming Supervision (AJ) conducted two operations in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, managing, in less than half a day, to raid 96 gaming devices.
The first site intervened was located in Bailón Mercado, where 54 gaming devices were seized: 50 ticket machines, three poker tables, and one American roulette. The second raided site was located on Avenida Alemana, this house had three gaming rooms where 41 ticket machines and one manual roulette were installed.
It is estimated that the intervened places were private homes, with surveillance cameras and monitors installed at strategic points to detect the presence of the AJ and thwart possible seizures.

Cristian Alvarado, regional director of the AJ in Santa Cruz, highlighted: "We thank the citizens for their collaboration in reporting these types of activities. These sites operate outside the law, without the necessary guarantees or controls, becoming centers of scam and promoting gambling addiction.” He added: “The AJ will continue working to eradicate these illegal activities and protect the population."
