Representatives from operating companies participated in the meeting of the Association of Recreational Halls and Gaming of Euskadi.
Spain.- The Association of Recreational Halls and Gaming of Euskadi (ASE) held its Ordinary General Assembly with the participation of representatives from 39 gaming hall operating companies from the Basque Country. Aspects related to the development of the sector were addressed.
During the meeting, various topics about the challenges faced by gaming halls were discussed, such as the new regulatory order for gaming venues and the incorporation of alternative payment methods to cash.
The meeting was chaired by Juan Torralba, president of ASE. Also participating were Rubén Lavín, vice president of the association, and Peio de Frutos, general secretary.
The closure of the assembly featured the participation of the Director of Gaming and Shows of the Basque Government, Aitor Uriarte. During his speech, the local government representative highlighted the importance of collaboration between the private sector and public administration to ensure regulatory compliance and the sustainability of the gaming sector.
Looking to the future, ASE highlighted its commitment to its members to continue working on proposals that promote sustainability, innovation, and responsibility in gaming halls.

Meanwhile, recently, members of the boards of directors of various associations related to the gaming sector in the Basque Country held a year-end meeting. The associations of Recreational Machines of the Basque Country, AMRA, AGUIMAR, and ASE, held a meeting in the town of Zerain, in the province of Guipúzcoa, where they strengthened their ties.
