Yggdrasil announces a new milestone in collaboration with its YGG Masters partner HungryBear, as the real money version of HungryBear's multiplayer slot game SlotMasters has been certified in the UK.
This certification marks the game as one of the first commercially viable real money multiplayer slot games.
The game will be exclusively offered through Yggdrasil and plans to expand its reach through approvals from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and other jurisdictions.
As a free game, SlotMasters has achieved tremendous success over four years. The game allows three players to compete against each other in a two-minute battle, using various weapons to steal points and defeat opponents.
The real money gaming (RMG) version of SlotMasters aims to build on this foundation by adding RMG features in a peer-to-peer format.
Commenting on the game development, Yggdrasil's Commercial Director Jose Simon said: "In addition to HungryBear's excellent portfolio of traditional slot games, we have always been very excited about the potential of the RMG version of SlotMasters.
"When we first partnered, we described it as a game-changing project, but now that it has been officially certified, this description is even more accurate.
