Home office in Makati, someone was arrested!
Chinese national Yuhang Liu was arrested at the corner of Barangay San Isidro in Makati City.
The arrest stemmed from a call by a complainant who claimed that Yuhang Liu forced him to deliver communication hacking devices of unknown origin to his residence. It is alleged that these devices would be placed in critical facilities to invade or obtain the International Mobile Equipment Identity of mobile phones.
Members of the CIDG found a handgun on the suspect's waist, questioned him, and asked him to show identification and authorization to possess the firearm. However, Liu failed to produce the proper documents.
During the search of the suspect's vehicle, law enforcement found several firearms and ammunition, a multi-band directional antenna system, battery packs, a solar inverter, a radio receiver/transmitter, a Huawei router, an Apple tablet, mobile phones, and some cash.
In a subsequent raid on the suspect's residence, they found an inverter, aerial drones, a computer keyboard, CPU unit, portable power hub, several IDs, and cash.
The suspect is currently detained at the immigration detention facility in Barangay Bagong Diwa, Taguig City.
