The Swedish Gambling Authority, Spelinspektionen, released a series of policy updates before Christmas.

The first explanation stated that the Supreme Administrative Court decided not to allow four gambling companies to appeal.

Snabbare will pay 24 million Swedish Kronor (approximately $2.2 million), Hajper will pay 14 million Swedish Kronor, ComeOn Sweden will pay 13 million Swedish Kronor, and Casinostugan will pay 8 million Swedish Kronor in approval fees.

The government imposed these fees after discovering that operators were offering unauthorized bonuses by depositing multiple cash amounts into customers' gaming accounts and providing free bets.

Hajper was initially required to pay a fee of 50 million Swedish Kronor. However, the Supreme Administrative Court later reduced this amount.

As for Cosmogames, the operator was offering games in Sweden without the necessary licenses, thus the website was deemed illegal and banned.

It is worth noting that there were several reasons for the rejection of Cosmogames. Not only could Swedish customers register and create accounts, but the website also supported betting and withdrawals in Swedish currency. The company and its affiliates' information, policy documents, and marketing were also provided in Swedish.

The agency also released the latest campaign titled "Unnecessary Stimulations."

These animated films explain why it is important to play only on sites licensed by the authority and the risks associated with illegal casinos.

Yvonne Hejdenberg, the communications director of the Swedish Gambling Authority, stated: "Raising awareness and changing behavior is a long-term effort. We believe that this concept can work and evolve over time. With the animated format, we can communicate quickly and clearly."

It turns out that Spelinspektionen will be very busy during the Christmas period, as it issued two additional sanction fee orders to Spooniker and Mr Green yesterday.
