Online sportsbooks in Wyoming brought in a sports betting handle of $22.8 million in November, generating revenues of $3.4 million, according to a report from the Wyoming Gaming Commission. While the sports betting handle fell by almost 6.7 percent from October, revenues increased by nearly 77.6 percent.
DraftKings saw the most action over November, handling more than $12.5 million in wagers. The sportsbook walked away with more than $2 million in revenue. The DraftKings sports betting handle accounted for more than 54 percent of the state-wide total, while its revenues covered 59.3 percent of Wyoming’s total. No other Wyoming online sportsbook earned more than $750,000 in revenue in November.
The closest was FanDuel Sportsbook, which handled almost $4.7 million and generated revenues of more than $675,000. Meanwhile, BetMGM handled nearly $4.1 million, and Fanatics handled more than $1 million, bringing in revenues of more than $558,000 and $124,000, respectively.
Caesars Sportsbook attracted the smallest market share with a sports betting handle of around $524,000 and revenues of more than $33,500.
The increase in sports betting revenues comes as lawmakers consider changing the Wyoming gaming market. The Wyoming Gaming Commission agreed to a deal with Spectrum Gaming Group for a feasibility study into online casinos in Wyoming.
