The entity seeks to offer a more agile and efficient service.
Argentina.- As part of an innovation and modernization process that began in January this year, the Corrientes Lottery announced the implementation of state-of-the-art betting capture machines at its sales points throughout the province.
These are Sunmi V2S devices, cutting-edge technology designed to optimize the experience of users and operators at each point of sale. These new machines not only provide greater agility in operations but also ensure efficiency and accuracy in the betting capture process.
From the institution, it was highlighted that this technological update is part of a year of changes and improvements, reinforcing the commitment of the Corrientes Lottery to "innovation and quality of service".
"The implementation of these tools allows us to be aligned with the market needs and the expectations of our bettors," indicated by the Corrientes Lottery, emphasizing that the goal is to offer a faster, safer, and more efficient service in every corner of the province.
In this way, the Corrientes Lottery ends the year by consolidating its commitment to modernization, in line with the current demands of the sector and reaffirming its key role as a promoter of transparent and reliable games.
It is worth remembering that in January, the authorities announced that 2024 would come with a new image, the launch of more products, and more technology. In March, the Corrientes Lottery announced the arrival of an online platform to play the lottery virtually.
This month, the commissioner of the Corrientes Lottery, Héctor Javier Bee Sellares, revealed that 200 new illegal online gambling sites were reported, which add to the 420 that had already been identified previously.
"These sites not only operate outside the law but also allow minors to access betting very easily," warned the commissioner, who added: "This phenomenon not only represents a challenge for the authorities but also a real threat to the integrity and well-being of our youth. The fight against illegal gambling is a task that requires the collaboration of the entire society."
Bee Sellares emphasized the need to implement concrete measures to close access to these sites. "We have signed agreements with the Central Bank to ensure that the virtual wallets associated with these places no longer work. If there is nowhere to deposit or collect a bet, then that bet cannot exist," he explained. This proactive approach is essential to discourage clandestine gambling and protect vulnerable bettors.
