Gaming in Asturias: AERPA analyzed the challenges of the sector in its ordinary assembly.

The Business Association of the Recreational Sector of the Principality of Asturias held a meeting attended by most of its members.

Spain.- The Business Association of the Recreational Sector of the Principality of Asturias (AERPA) conducted its ordinary assembly, which was attended by the majority of its members. During the meeting, the most relevant topics of the sector were discussed.

The members of the association exchanged thoughts on the challenges they faced in recent months and analyzed the future of the recreational industry in Asturias.

Furthermore, AERPA made financial donations to two Asturian entities with a long history in social assistance. The Gijon Charity Association (Economic Kitchen) and the Social Dining-Economic Kitchen of Oviedo received the donations from the entity. Representatives from both organizations participated in the event and expressed their gratitude for the support. They also highlighted the importance of these contributions to continue meeting the basic needs of the most vulnerable people in the community.

AERPA has "as its main mission the defense of the operating companies that comprise it and serves as the specific body for the representation, management, and coordination of the legitimate interests of all its members." The organization is committed to the principles of sustainable gaming and corporate social responsibility policies.

Moreover, according to a report, the gaming sector will contribute more than EUR30m to the budget of Asturias for 2025, including about EUR660,150 in planned tax benefits.

This data is included in the General Budget Law Project of the Principality of Asturias for the year 2025, updated on November 29. According to the report, it is estimated that the tax benefits derived from this sector will reach EUR660,150 by 2025.

On the other hand, the gaming fees for that year are calculated at EUR25,748,630, which represents 1.56 percent of the tax revenues ceded to the Principality of Asturias.
