The Secretary of Awards and Betting (SPA) of the Ministry of Finance has accepted another judicial decision and updated the list of pre-approved bets to operate in Brazil. YG Gaming has been included to act with the brands 6z, 8pg, and 98br. Now, there are 103 companies representing a total of 232 sports betting and online gaming brands on the national list and 31 state lists, with 40 domains.
In another update forced by a judicial decision, the fifth since the launch of the first national list of bets presented to the Secretary of Awards and Betting, the SPA announced a new list of companies eligible to act during the transition period, which lasts until the end of December.
YG Gaming Ltda, which is eligible to act with the brands 6z, 8pg, and 98br, was included. The company, previously not included in the list, went to court to ensure its pre-operation.
Now, there are 103 listed companies, five of them by judicial determination. In total, they represent 232 betting brands eligible to operate in Brazil until December 31.
In the Betting Management System (Sigap), the number of companies that have presented themselves to obtain an operating license in the regulated Brazilian market already includes 271 companies, with almost 100 of them presenting themselves after the deadline set by the SPA for the license to be granted this year.
Considering the national and state lists, there are now 134 companies and 272 sites eligible to offer sports betting and online games. There is still no list of companies definitively approved to operate in Brazil.
