From the Brazilian lottery, more than 60 courses were offered aiming at the development and professional training of employees with the goal of "continuing to offer a quality public service".
Brazil.- The State Lottery of Parana (Lottopar) demonstrates its commitment to the development of its servers by investing in ongoing qualification and training programs. As explained by the company, this strategic initiative aims not only to improve the technical skills of the employees but also to foster an environment of learning and professional growth, resulting in a more motivated and prepared team to face the challenges of the market.
Moreover, with these continuous training programs, the public services offered by the municipality also benefit the people of Parana, who increasingly opt for a safe, responsible lottery service with social returns for the entire population. The courses are conducted in collaboration with the School of Management of the Government of Paraná, the State Court of Accounts (TCE), and the National School of Public Administration (ENAP).
Among the areas of technical and professional improvement, the areas of inspection and contract management stand out, mainly aiming at integrity and transparency in the contracting of services by Lottopar, with a focus on the proper use of public resources.
Some of the more than 60 courses offered and completed by the employees were how to efficiently monitor public contracts; official communication in the organizational context; accounting with a focus on public budget management; internal control; duration of administrative contracts; statistics for data analysis in public administration; preliminary contracting studies; training of contracting agents; training of auctioneers; guarantees in the administrative contract; risk management in contracting; procurement management; process management; personnel management; among many others.
The Human Resources Manager of Lottopar, Sandra Marinho, stated: "Through these trainings, workshops, and specialized courses, the employees of Lottopar have the opportunity to update their knowledge, develop new skills, and adapt to the constant changes in the sector. This means valuing human capital and ensuring that we can offer increasingly quality public services."

The Government of the State of Paraná has authorized an investment of R$10m (USD1.6m) for the construction of a Forensic Laboratory to Combat Financial Crimes, intended for the Scientific Police. The funds come from activities regulated by Loterias do Estado do Paraná (Lottopar).
