A new gambling property, the Revo Casino and Social House, opened its doors in Lebanon on Wednesday, marking the latest addition to New Hampshire's rapidly growing gaming industry.

Owned by a California-based entertainment company, the Revo Casino is the fourth venue operated by the business in the state. It joins the roster of 12 charitable casinos currently operating across New Hampshire, which collectively reported a combined yearly revenue of $139 million as of October 2024.

All gaming facilities in New Hampshire are owned by out-of-state entities, including several companies headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, underscoring the national interest in the state’s gaming market.

Under New Hampshire law, a portion of gaming revenue must be directed to registered nonprofits. This model has proven lucrative for charities, with games of chance and historic horse race machines contributing over $22 million to charitable causes in 2023.

The state’s gaming industry continues to expand, driven by laws allowing charitable casinos and historic horse race machines, a version of slot machines permitted under state regulations.

More casinos are on the horizon, including The Nash, a multi-level gaming facility currently under construction at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua. The facility has held multiple hiring events to fill hundreds of positions ahead of its planned opening later this winter.
