The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) recently conducted a large-scale anti-illegal gambling operation in the Metro Manila area, successfully arresting 2,010 individuals involved in gambling and confiscating a total of P493,182.50 in gambling proceeds.
The NCRPO stated that since November 11, they have carried out 808 anti-gambling operations, covering various police districts including Manila, Quezon City, Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela, Pasig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, San Juan, Montinlupa, Parañaque, Pasay, Pateros, and Taguig.
This operation highlights the NCRPO's determination in combating illegal gambling activities and shows the police force's ongoing efforts to intensify the crackdown on the illegal gambling industry.
