Japanese payment gateway leader NETSTARS announces its collaboration with Cambodia's top commercial bank ACLEDA and WeChat Pay TENCENT. Through ACLEDA's electronic payment system and NETSTARS's "StarPay" international payment solution, a WeChat Pay channel is now available for Chinese tourists applying for visas on arrival in Cambodia.
From now on, Chinese tourists can conveniently use WeChat Pay to pay for their visa fees at the visa on arrival counters at Cambodian international airports.
All international travelers applying for a visa on arrival at Cambodian international airports need only fill out a paper application form and can complete the visa fee payment through ACLEDA's digital payment services and POS terminals.
The payment methods are diverse, including QR code scanning, card swiping, VISA, UPI, JCB, Diners Club, Discover, American Express, all ACLEDA cards, CSS cards, WeChat Pay, GLN, KHQR Bakong, Bakong Tourists, etc.
The Cambodian Ministry of Interior launched the visa on arrival electronic payment service on December 19, 2024, which collects visa fees through ACLEDA's electronic payment services and POS terminals.
This electronic payment service is jointly developed by the General Department of Immigration of the Ministry of Interior, along with relevant ministries and agencies.
