Netizen submission:

Has the Philippine Bureau of Immigration started messing things up now? Those who previously processed white-collar dependent work visas are now also being listed with POGO records.

My friend recently returned to China and asked an agency to check for any black marks. The agency mentioned a POGO record, and not trusting the agency, he had the company's administration check with the immigration bureau, and it was still there.

Now he is already on the Alo list, and if he doesn't leave the country by 12/31, he will be blocked.

But my friend is currently on a tourist visa, and he had processed a work visa once before, which was also a white-collar one. How could he be on the POGO list? He has never processed a POGO work visa.

I am now suspecting that the immigration bureau is messing things up. If they can't meet the number of POGO people, they might use other Chinese who have processed dependent work visas to make up the numbers?

And it specifically targets Chinese people; this director is also anti-Chinese. It's just like a few months ago in Wan Guo Village when they randomly detained Chinese people to make up the numbers. It mainly depends on whether the number of people leaving the country at the end of this month is sufficient; if not, they will blacklist in large numbers.

The immigration bureau is now in chaos. Previously, they said that after lowering the POGO visa and clearing customs, you could leave the country and then come back normally.

I know a few people who are in this situation. They lowered their POGO visa, returned to their country, processed a tourist visa, came back to the Philippines, and everything was normal. Just a few days ago, when they went to an agency to process a white-collar work visa again, they found out they were all blacklisted. So, what do you think about this situation?

I am suspecting that the immigration bureau is messing things up now. I'm posting this to ask if anyone else has encountered this situation? Those who have never processed a POGO work visa are now also on the POGO list and also need to leave the country by the end of the month, otherwise, they will be blacklisted.
