The Irish National Lottery (Premier Lotteries Ireland, hereinafter referred to as PLI) has collaborated with mkodo to launch a new mobile application, which is compatible with Android and iOS systems and integrates multiple functions to facilitate lottery players.
This App provides complete transactional capabilities, supporting user registration, online lottery purchases, and scan verification, enhancing user experience and participant engagement.
Compared to previous similar Apps, this App has a more user-friendly interface and is easier to operate. For example, it includes an interesting "shake to select numbers" feature, where users can generate a set of numbers by shaking their device and complete betting with a single click.
The "Game Information" menu for each game not only displays the odds of winning but also allows users to learn about "how to play" and "responsible lottery" in detail.
The App's notifications are also more prominent; a red dot appears on the menu when there are new notifications, alerting users to unread messages.
A significant upgrade of the App is focused on the online instant games section, with up to 11 new online instant games launched simultaneously with the App.
These games are provided by PLI's online instant game supplier, Pollard Banknote, including popular games like "Super Riches," "Jungle Cashword," and "Sizzle Hot 7s," as well as several games customized for PLI's lottery players.
It is reported that the App will continue to launch more games in the coming months. In terms of functionality, if users pause the game and return later, they can continue from where they left off rather than starting over, effectively enhancing the gaming experience.
PLI's Digital Director, Stephen Reid, stated: "The launch of new online instant games and mobile applications marks an important step in our digital development."
These new features will provide convenient fun for lottery players, enhance the overall experience, and strengthen our commitment to security and responsible gaming.
The Irish National Lottery allocates about 30% of its total sales to public welfare funds, mainly used for sports, youth support, health, welfare, education, arts, cultural heritage, and the preservation of the Irish language.
