Following the approval from the regulatory bodies for casino and sports betting licenses in the Brazilian market, Stake has appointed Thomas Carvalhaes as the National Manager for Brazil.
Carvalhaes, with his extensive industry experience, will lead a team of 10 local employees, supported by Stake's global workforce of 1,000 employees.
The team will focus on providing localized operations while ensuring compliance with Brazil's regulatory framework.
Carvalhaes stated, "The brand I lead has the innovative capacity to find the right opportunities and engage with the right audience, which is very powerful and definitely a successful combination."
It is worth noting that Stake has already established partnerships with local organizations, including Juventude football club, UFC, and racing drivers Pietro and Enzo Fittipaldi.
Earlier this year, Stake expanded its slot game portfolio through a collaboration with Just Slots.
This agreement added games like "Sugar Heaven" to the Stake platform, with other games planned for release in 2025.
Stake had also previously collaborated with Hub88 to integrate content from over 120 studios to expand its product range.
