The SBC Rio Summit will welcome EDM legend Afrojack as the headline act for the INFINITY Rio party. The party will take place on February 27, within the framework of the 2025 Game Show.
Grammy Award-winning producer Afrojack will host the party, with Brazilian indoor duo Dubdogz also set to perform. The organizers stated, "This exciting event will provide participants with an unforgettable night of music and an exhilarating atmosphere."
"INFINITY was born in Lisbon, where we kicked off our first EDM festival with top DJs Don Diablo, Miss Monique, and Darude. Now, we are bringing this momentum to Rio with INFINITY Rio, taking things to a new level," said Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and founder of SBC.
EDM idol Afrojack rose to fame with "Take Over Control," becoming a key figure in the genre. He is known for his collaborations with Beyoncé, Pitbull, and Will.i.am. His accolades include being listed in Rolling Stone's "50 Most Important People in EDM" and Forbes' "30 Under 30." Additionally, his 2020 track "All Night" topped the US dance radio charts and garnered over 40 million streaming plays.
Dubdogz, the Brazilian twin band Lucas and Marcos Ruback, are known for their fusion of Brazilian bass and House. They are one of the few Brazilian bands on the "DJ Mag Top 100" and have performed on iconic stages like Tomorrowland, EDC, and Ushuaïa Ibiza. Their collaboration with Bhaskar, "Infinity," achieved double platinum status and has over 126 million streams on Spotify.
Beyond entertainment, INFINITY Rio will also provide a networking platform, combining VIP treatment with social interaction. SBC stated, "By integrating music and entertainment (long-standing sources of inspiration in the gaming world) into the closing party, SBC will deliver a truly captivating event finale that captures the dynamism of the gaming world."
Sojmark commented, "Having Afrojack headline the inaugural INFINITY Rio truly signifies the scale of SBC Summit Rio. Our delegates will experience a fusion of world-class entertainment and top-tier networking at the EDM festival."

The Rio Centro Super Stage is a new highlight of the SBC Rio Summit, hosting this party where Afrojack and Dubdogz will set the tone for the Rio de Janeiro Carnival starting on February 28.
"We have timed the SBC Rio Summit 2025 perfectly so that attendees can focus on business and then dive straight into the carnival. With Afrojack and Dubdogz's performances, the opening of the carnival will be spectacular," Sojmark added.
In October, SBC announced that superstar DJ Alok would headline the Rio INFINITY party. However, Alok had to resign due to personal reasons. The CEO of SBC commented, "Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, Alok will not be able to participate in the 2025 Rio SBC Summit as originally planned. We are as disappointed as you are, but these things happen, and we fully understand.
"We acted quickly to ensure that the INFINITY Rio party still delivers the energy and unforgettable atmosphere you expect. With Afrojack and Dubdogz stepping in, we believe they are the perfect replacements to make the night truly spectacular."
Due to increasing demand, the SBC Rio Summit has moved to one of the largest convention centers in Latin America, Rio Centro. The event in February is expected to attract over 15,000 attendees.
In addition to this growth, the introduction of the Super Stage "will enhance the attendee experience," while the Alliance Leaders Summit and Payment Experts Summit brands—both debuted in Lisbon—will also make their first appearance in Rio.
