The National Association of Games and Lotteries assesses that the decision of the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA) of the Ministry of Finance to grant definitive and other provisional authorizations for betting houses to operate in the country was the most sensible and fair for the market. ANJL understands that the government has comprehended the bureaucratic difficulties faced by various betting houses.
As ANJL had already warned SPA through a letter on December 24, some operators were unable, for example, to obtain certification of integration between the systems of online game providers and betting platforms.
This fact was beyond the will of the betting houses, having occurred due to the difficulty of the certifying entities authorized by the Treasury to meet the enormous demand until December 31.
As published in an ordinance by SPA in the Official Gazette of the Union, now operators who have these and other pending issues will have a period of 30 days to resolve, extendable for an equal period.
The measure is fundamental for the continuity of the operation of dozens of serious bets that, if suspended, would certainly lose a good part of their client portfolio to the illegal market.
Launched in March 2023, the National Association of Games and Lotteries defends the interests of its members, the sector, and responsible and honest gaming, always guided by the encouragement of sports, the safety of bets, and the contribution to the economic development of the country.
Among the members are Betnacional, Mr. Jack, Parimatch, Big Brazil, PagBet, BetFast, Aposta Ganha, Liderança Capitalização, Z.RO Bank, Propane, Paag, Clear Sale, BetBox tv, StarsPay, 1xBet, PG Soft, Jogalimpo, Oddfair, Responsa, Lucky Gaming, Zona de Jogo, and OIG (One Internet Group).
