Sports betting and online gaming company Grupo Aposta Ganha officially launched in Brazil’s newly regulated market on January 1, 2025.
Aposta Ganha is among the first platforms to be licensed under the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA), part of the Ministry of Finance. This follows six years of successful operations in Brazil, positioning the company to thrive in the country’s regulated environment while adhering to SPA’s rigorous guidelines.
The company said that it is “fully committed to responsible gaming,” incorporating these values into its operations even before the SPA’s stringent measures came into effect.
"We're fiercely proud of our Brazilian heritage and are happy to announce our successful completion of the federal operating license application laid out by the Ministry of Finance,” said Rene Santos, Grupo Aposta Ganha co-CEO.
