The announcement was made following the resignation of Sutharshan Kandiah from his role as chief financial officer.
The Philippines.- Suntrust Resort Holdings, a subsidiary of LET Group Holdings, has announced through a company filing that Yip Ho Chi has been appointed as chief financial officer (CFO) following the resignation of Sutharshan Kandiah.
According to the company, Yip will remain in its new role as CFO during the remainder of the term of Kandiah and until his successor is duly elected and qualifies for the position. Suntrust stated: “To be clear, the appointment of Yip is conditioned upon the issuance by the relevant government agencies of the necessary work permits.”
Yip Ho Chi has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance. He has worked as CFO for several publicly listed companies on the stock exchange of Hong Kong. He also worked as CFO at Summit Ascent Holdings Limited, Melcolot Limited (now Crypto Flow Technology Limited) and Sandmartin International Holdings.
Suntrust’s CFO also spent eight years at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a global accounting firm, from 1992 to 2000. He is a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) from The University of Hong Kong.
