Later, his girlfriend reported to the police in Shanghai and sought help from the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok and the Chinese Consulate General in Chiang Mai.

In addition, reporters noticed that many actors and netizens posted chat records, saying that they had seen "Yan Shiliu" posting actor recruitment notices for filming in Thailand in various actor groups and costume and props groups. Among them, actor Deng You posted a chat record with "Yan Shiliu" on Weibo, revealing his own near experience of going to Thailand for filming. Insider: "Yan Shiliu" had been a martial arts director, had borrowed money from many people for many years without repayment.
Reporters found that as early as a month ago, "Yan Shiliu" had posted messages in various actor exchange groups under the name of recruiting actors for the "Drug Enforcement Policewoman" drama crew.
A makeup artist who has been engaged in actor makeup work for a long time told "Seeing" reporters that on December 4, 2024, she saw "Yan Shiliu" posting a new drama preparation recruitment notice for photographers, artists, makeup artists, actors, etc., in a communication group for costumes and props, stating "precondition must have a passport, full-time filming in Thailand."
Subsequently, a costume designer in the circle @ "Yan Shiliu" asked him to repay the money, calling "Yan Shiliu" a "scammer" who had disappeared after borrowing money from many people in Hengdian a few years earlier.
The aforementioned makeup artist provided group records showing that on December 7, 2024, "Yan Shiliu" posted recruitment information for "cinema movie 'Drug Enforcement Policewoman' follow-up actors" in the group, recruiting 10 male and female actors each, "full-time filming in Thailand."
On the afternoon of January 6th, reporters contacted the costume designer Keke (pseudonym) who demanded the loan repayment.
According to Keke, around 2016, she met "Yan Shiliu" in Hengdian, who was a martial arts director of a drama crew at that time, and they had several collaborations afterwards. Once, "Yan Shiliu" borrowed money from her because of a car accident on the highway, "He was very polite that time, and because of his identity as a martial arts director, I lent him the money, and he repaid me later."
She said that in November 2017, "Yan Shiliu" borrowed 1500 yuan from her and never repaid it.
"After a long time, I asked him for the money, and he said he had no money. I felt something was wrong, so I contacted the people and friends he had worked with, and found out that he had borrowed money from everyone he knew in Hengdian, more or less, and then he went to Guizhou. We couldn't possibly go to Guizhou for that little money."
Keke stated: "In the meantime, I actually gave up on getting the money back, but later I occasionally saw him posting some recruitment information in the group, and I was afraid that someone would be deceived like me, so every time he posted, I would say in the group that his credit was bad and he didn't repay the money."
According to the transfer records provided by Keke, "Yan Shiliu's" real-name authentication information is Yan Moumou.
On the same day, a long-time film and television industry worker in Hengdian told reporters that "Yan Shiliu" had borrowed 2000 yuan from him and had not repaid it to this day, "We haven't contacted for many years, and he suddenly sent me a message a while ago and chatted for a few sentences, asking me to go to Thailand. I thought it was too troublesome and didn't go, nor did we talk much."
He provided chat records showing that "Yan Shiliu" invited him to Thailand for filming on December 7, 2024, claiming "four consecutive shoots, can work for a year" "can earn more money."
"Yan Shiliu" invited the interviewee to Thailand for filming on December 7, 2024.

It is reported that Yexu County is located in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand, a border city situated at the Thai-Myanmar border, facing Myanmar's Myawaddy region across the river.
According to reports, actor Xu Dajiu contacted Wang Xing's family and stated, "Wang Xing has now entered the park, and his hair has been shaved. He also started a video call, but it is not convenient to show it. He is the third batch, and I am the second batch. I can now confirm that he is in Myawaddy."
At 1:16 pm on January 6th, netizen @InsomniaDaddy posted that he had arrived in Bangkok and would go to the embassy for help. At 2:17 pm, he posted again stating not to believe rumors about being bald, having entered the park, having confirmed the park, and having made contact.
