The Quality Mark Responsible Member (QMRA) has announced the expansion of its compliance certification program to the Australian market.

QMRA was launched by XY Legal Solutions in early 2024, based on the success of its Dutch predecessor KVA. Since its establishment in 2021, it has gained support from major operators and over 90 members.

The QMRA certification provides affiliated agencies with compliance reports, online certificates verifying website compliance, and consulting opportunities related to compliance issues.

The program has been operational in multiple jurisdictions including Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Germany, and various states in the USA, attracting industry participants such as Leadstar Media, ADM Group, BetFans, and Game Lounge.

Now, moving into Australia marks another milestone for QMRA, which has been rapidly adopted since its launch. Recent developments include Gentoo integrating QMRA standards into its official company policy, and the Swedish and German versions of Newcasinos.com will submit for compliance review in October 2024.

Prior to this, Sitebee also collaborated with QMRA to expand its compliance solutions.

Regarding this decision, Rasmus Bank Nielsen, head of Sitebee, stated: "By integrating QMRA's rich legal knowledge, Sitebee provides our clients with the latest regulatory insights, enabling them to confidently conduct business in highly active markets.

"This collaboration provides operators with the clarity and foresight needed to manage risks and maintain compliance in all operational regions."
