On January 7th, Chinese actor Wang Xing, after being rescued, arrived in Bangkok, Thailand. He recounted the process of going missing on a police official plane. Wang Xing stated that after crossing the river, he did not realize he had entered Myanmar until he was forced into a vehicle by armed personnel.
He mentioned that there were at least 50 people in the building he was in, and another building housed individuals from many countries. His hair was shaved off by the scammers, and everyone there was required to shave their heads.
Wang Xing told Thai police that day that the scam gang used the title of a famous Thai entertainment company to deceive him into going to the airport.
Tanai Bidanilab, the Director of the National Police Supervision and Technology Crime Prevention and Combat Center in Thailand, confirmed that Chinese actor Wang Xing was taken to Myawaddy Gully in Myanmar. With the cooperation of ethnic minorities in Myanmar, Thai police successfully rescued Wang Xing. Other Chinese citizens were also found at the scene.
Wang Xing stated that with the help of Tak Province in Thailand, he safely left the immigration office and was sent to Mae Sot Airport. At 18:00 Thai time, Wang Xing was escorted by Tanai Bidanilab, the Director of the National Police Supervision, from Mae Sot County by police plane to Bangkok. After arriving at the Third Air Squadron Airport in Bangkok at 19:00, Wang Xing publicly thanked all the staff who assisted him, ensuring his smooth return.
Tanai noted that the police take such cases very seriously and handle them efficiently. He also confirmed that Wang Xing did not suffer any physical injuries, and the leg birthmark previously mistaken for a wound was not caused by violence.
According to the investigation by the Thai police, Wang Xing arrived in Thailand on January 3rd and was taken across the border by boat at Mae Sot. Wang Xing stated that it was then he realized he had been deceived, but he was too scared to resist. Thai police also disclosed a detailed timeline of Wang Xing's disappearance.

1. January 3rd, 03:16, Wang Xing arrived in Thailand with a Chinese passport, holding a "non-immigrant visa" valid until March 3rd, staying at Cocotel Phuket Hotel in Phuket.
2. January 3rd, 03:40, Wang Xing left Suvarnabhumi Airport in a gray Toyota Altis, license plate number 8กณ 5877 กทม.
3. January 3rd, 09:00, Wang Xing traveled to Chai Nat Province, passing through Kamphaeng Phet Province around 10:34, and then through Mae Sot District in Tak Province.
4. January 3rd, 11:00, Wang Xing went missing, and subsequent surveillance revealed that he was picked up and transferred to another vehicle.
The police tracked the vehicle that picked up Wang Xing before he went missing through an automatic license plate recognition system, identifying it as a gray Toyota Hilux Revo owned by a Thai national named Rawee. Further investigation revealed that Rawee admitted to picking up Wang Xing at a supermarket, following instructions from a Karen soldier.
Currently, the police station in Yasothon Province has located the suspect "Wichai," who has provided relevant information. The investigation showed that Wang Xing did not enter Thailand through the Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge No. 1 port.
The situation of Wang Xing has attracted public attention, and the police and immigration authorities are still intensively investigating this case to ensure that other similar criminal activities are effectively combated.
