Artist Nuriatoll joined the project, strengthening the relationship between art and gaming.
Press release.- The igaming content provider BGaming unveiled its first artwork for 2025 as part of the company's «When Art Meets Gaming» project, a creative proposal designed to celebrate and promote local artists in the host cities of igaming exhibitions.
The Barcelona street artist Nuriatoll, who has been involved in various artistic projects since 2014 and has worked with major brands such as Adidas, Seat, and Johnny Walker, has joined the project. Her distinctive artistic style is characterized by her innovative use of graphic illustrations, geometric shapes, and flat images that come to life with a palette of vibrant colors.
The artworks of Nuriatoll convey powerful messages, challenging viewers to engage with broader social issues. With her participation in the «When Art Meets Gaming» project, Nuriatoll reinforces the relationship between art and gaming, fostering a deeper connection between visitors and the host cities.
The artist reimagines characters from BGaming titles such as «Wild Tiger«, «Elvis Frog TRUEWAYS», «Aztec Magic Bonanza», «Wild West TRUEWAYS», and «Gemhalla», infusing her distinctive style into each of them for the collaboration.
Attendees wishing to see Nuriatoll's works in person will be able to view them on the wall of the BGaming booth (2E22), as well as on merchandise items and gifts for partners and visitors. This is the provider's first «When Art Meets Gaming» collaboration in the new year, following eight successful collaborations with world-renowned street artists in 2024 and 2023.
Kate Puteiko, Marketing Director of BGaming, highlighted: «After having achieved great success with ‘When Art Meets Gaming’ over the past two years, we are thrilled to kick off the year 2025 in a big way, working with one of the most creative street artists in Spain. ICE is one of the most important events of the year, and this project is an excellent way to introduce this new host city».
We are proud of the work we have done so far with the project, and Nuriatoll is another good example of the type of talented artist we like to highlight. We are eager to see how visitors react to her impressive artwork, and we are excited to continue highlighting the power of art and gaming».
Nuriatoll, artist, noted: «This collaboration is a challenge for me as an artist. It is very interesting because it is not about creating new characters, but about giving them my vision and personal touch while maintaining their essence. Additionally, I usually use very basic geometry and shapes in my designs, so I had to find a way to represent the features that make them more recognizable. Truthfully, it has been a very fun challenge.
Lately, I have been very focused on painting murals on the street or in public spaces where there is a lot of hustle and bustle. Being able to dedicate a few days to a much more relaxed digital job has been a gift. I have been able to enjoy all the processes, both creatively and experimentally».
