The authorities of the Patagonian entity supported the delivery of goods and funds in Carrenleufú.
Argentina.- The government of Chubut, through the Institute of Social Assistance (IAS) – Lottery of Chubut, supported this Sunday, January 5th, the town of Carrenleufú in the opening of the National Pacific Salmon Festival with the delivery of significant contributions to the areas of health, education, and security, represented by the Rural Hospital, Volunteer Firefighters, the local police station, and School No. 10.
The event was attended by the local community leader, Alberto Rosas; the general manager of the Lottery of Chubut, Daniel Cambón Rubí; the Minister of Tourism and Protected Areas of the province, Diego Lapenna; and the president of the Autarchic Institute of Colonization and Rural Development, Horacio Massacese.
Also present were the mayor of Esquel, Matías Taccetta, and the provincial deputies Daniel Hollmann and Karina Otero, among other authorities, as well as representatives of the beneficiary institutions and local residents, who highlighted the importance of these goods and funds delivered to key sectors of the community.
For their part, the representatives of the beneficiary institutions thanked for the contributions, emphasizing the importance of having the necessary equipment to perform their work efficiently.
It is worth remembering that by the constitutive law of the Lottery of Chubut, 80 percent of the profits generated by the supervision of recreational activities and the commercialization of gambling must be distributed in social action goods among duly constituted entities that request it.
In December, a few days after the approval in the Legislature of Chubut of a reform to the Organic Law of the Institute of Social Assistance – Lottery of Chubut (IAS) and a new regulation of online gambling, the president of the entity provided more details about the implications that the new regulations will have on the development of the industry in the province.
Ramiro Ibarra, president of the Institute of Social Assistance of Chubut, was on the program Sin Hilo, on Channel 12 of Chubut, and emphasized that the objectives of the new legislation are: “Higher revenue, control of online gambling, and less bureaucracy”. The reform includes a change in the functioning of the organization, reorganization of the organizational chart, changes in the distribution of resources, among other points. However, the key will be in the implementation of the online gambling modality, the Lottery of Chubut will have a license to operate.
