Chile.- 2025 started sinuously for Chilean football as it is going through one of the biggest scandals to date. The Prosecutor's Office ordered the interrogation of the leaders Michael Clark, Aníbal Mosa, and Pablo Milad due to their links with sports betting houses.
The Public Ministry instructed the Investigations Police (PDI) to carry out the investigation on the commercial ties between football and the gambling industry.
Clark, Mosa, and Milad must appear before the Public Ministry to explain their connections with the betting houses. According to an article from Biobiochile.cl, prosecutor Rossana Folli issued an order last November, instructing the Economic Crimes Investigative Brigade (BRIDEC) to locate Clark to explain the links of the Azul Azul club with sponsors from the gambling industry, considered illegal.
