Yggdrasil has obtained a B2B gambling license from the Danish Gambling Authority, Spillemyndigheden.
This move follows legislative changes that came into effect earlier this year in the country, allowing iGaming publishers to continue offering their content portfolio to Danish players.
The company first entered the Danish market in 2017. The newly acquired license will allow the publisher to operate locally until 2029.

Worth noting: Yggdrasil's YGG Masters partner program allows for more content to be added to the publisher's library. In June 2024, Hungrybear joined the program.
Yggdrasil operates globally through a series of partnerships. Recent examples include collaborations with Brazil's Galera.bet and Spain's Paf Group, while one of its YGG Masters partners, Hungrybear, was certified in December in the UK to offer its multiplayer slot game SlotMasters as a real money game.
The brand has also expanded its online collaborations, enhancing its influence in the cryptocurrency gambling market. In November, it partnered with CoinCasino to introduce its game portfolio to the platform.
Cryptocurrency casinos and gambling have become increasingly popular, especially over the past few years, as public awareness of them continues to grow.
